Episode Ten- Perfection Takes Time

On the last episode of Cheaterville, Rayen and Gray admitted their feelings for one another but decided to keep their relationship a secret, Alessi's new boyfriend was introduced, and Gray started to fear for his mother's safety.

Alessi went from always on the computer to always out and about in less than a day. She and Darshan were always together doing something. It didn't matter what they were doing, just as long as they were together.

They shared their first kiss one warm evening while strolling through the neighborhood together.

Alessi put her hand over her heart and sighed happily. The way she saw it, everything was perfect.

Gray didn't see it that way, however. Whenever his mom was out with Darshan, he would sit around worry about her.

He would call her sometimes, and beg her to come home. He would explain  that Darshan came from a mob family and has been to prision before, but Alessi didn't care.
"He's not a bad guy!" she insisted. "He just keeps getting involved with the wrong people."
"But now YOU are getting involved with the wrong people!" Gray begged. "Please, I don't want you to get hurt!"
"I'm not," Alessi tried to soothe her worried son. "Don't worry about me, Grayson. I'll be okay."
"But..." Gray started, but Alessi interupted.
"I need to go now, Trucker, but I'll be home in a few hours."
"But Mom..." Gray pleaded, before she hung up. Gray sighed and slammed the phone down on the counter.

The one thing that could take Gray's mind off of his mom's new boyfriend was Rayen. They would wake up early every morning to cuddle and kiss, and every afternoon they would race each other to their own privite place, the abandoned mine.

They would spend the rest of the day there, cuddling and chatting, and once night came they would make out a while before leaving.

One night, after they were done making out, Rayen looked deep into Gray's eyes and whispered, "I love you."
Gray smiled. "I love you too, babe."
Rayen sighed. "But I am tired of this..."
"Huh?" asked Gray. "What are you tired of?"
"This," Rayen whined. "The sneaking around behind out parent's backs. The fact the we have to pretend we hate each other whenever someone walks into the room. Kissing in the cover of night. I wish we could act like a real couple!"
Gray sighed. "I do, too. And I'm sorry. You deserve better than this."
"We deserve better than this," Rayen corrected.
Gray nodded. "Yeah. I love you and I promise things aren't going to be like this for much longer."
Rayen hung her head, "Okay... I guess..."
Gray squeezed her shoulders. "It's going to be okay, Ray. I promise."

The next morning, while Rayen and Gray were cuddling on the couch, there was a knock at the door. Rayen kissed Gray's cheek, then leapt up and ran to the door. Henry was standing there, nervously twitching.
"Um, hi Henry," said Rayen, surprised. "What's up?"
Henry grabbed her arm and led her down the porch steps and down by the street. He stood there awkwardly for a moment, trying to convince himself to be brave, before finally asking, "I know Gray doesn't like you and he is going to hate me for this... but do you want to go out sometime?"

"Oh, Henry," said Rayen, forcing a smile. "I'm sorry... but, no." Henry's face fell, and Rayen quickly cried, "But it's not because I don't like you.... It's just that there is someone else."
Henry sighed. "You have a crush on someone else?"
Rayen thought about it a second. "It's not a crush... Really... But in a way, yes." Henry frowned, and Rayen cried, "I'm sorry, Henry..."
Henry threw his hands up. "Look, no problem, okay? It's your decistion." With that, he turned and left.
Surprisingly, it was not the first time this had happened. A lot of boys had been asking her out, and she had even made some knew friends. Rayen suspected that Gray had something to do with her new popularity, but she wasn't sure.

Lorelai had woken up a little earlier than usual to teach Cassie how to talk. She couldn't focus, however, because Rocco was on her mind. He was all she could think about, and she decided the only way to truly be there for Cassie was to invite him over so she could spend some time with him, and maybe she will get over her mini-obsession.

"Where going?" cried Cassie as Lorelai stood up and pulled out her phone.
Lorelai smiled. "I'm going to text Mommy's boyfriend Rocco!" She then started to punch in a couple of numbers, but she was surprised when her phone started to ring.

Confused, Lorelai hit the talk button and asked, "Hello?"
"Lorelai?" said a fimilar voice.
"Rocco!" exclaimed Lorelai. "I was about to text you!"
Rocco laughed. "You know, I miss you so bad, baby. I haven't seen you in so long!"
"Hey, wanna come over?" asked Lorelai.
"On my way!" exclaimed Rocco before hanging up. Lorelai slyly smiled.

Lorelai quickly put Cassie in her crib and ordered, "Go to sleep, Cass-Cass!"
"No Mommy!" wailed Cassie around her binky. "No go!"
"Just close your eyes," Lorelai said softly. "Mommy's boyfriend is coming over and you need to be asleep."
The shy little baby's eyes grew sad and wide, but she obdiently lay down and went to sleep.

Just in time, too, as the doorbell rang. Cassie didn't stir as her mother hurred out of the nursery and outside.
"Hey Rocco," she purred. "How you doing?"
Rocco grinned. "Great, now that you are here."
D'awww" said Lorelai, batting her eyes. "Your so sweet!"
"How is everyone?" asked Rocco sociably.
Lorelai shrugged. "The boys are out with Douglas, Rayen and Gray are.... around, Alessi is on the loose with her new beau, and Cassie is asleep." She smiled flirtingly at Rocco. "So it's just you and me."
Rocco chuckled. "That's great news."

They went inside and began to make out. After doing that for a bit, Lorelai leaned over and whispered into his ear. "I want you."

Rocco couldn't be more thrilled.

They snuck upstairs to Lorelai's bedroom.

They climbed on the bed and began to flirt.

Rayen was in the hall, hoping to talk to her mom. She needed some advice about her and Gray. She wasn't going to say excalty what was happening, but ask if a boy and a girl were destined to be together if they couldn't admit their relatiionship to their loved ones. Rayen was angry with her mother for making Douglas get kicked out, but she really needed some help.

She opened the door to see if her mom was in there, and got an eyeful of her mother having woohoo.

At first, the only thing that Rayen could do was grimace. She wasn't going to say anything, just pretend it never happened, and hope that see could unsee it. However, she snapped when her mother started to moan.
"MOM!" screamed Rayen, fuming.

Lorelai leapt up and spun into her sleepwear, while Rocco just slunk underneath the covers. She started to scream at Rayen to get out, but Rayen fought back.
"I hate you!" she wailed. "This is your third bedmate, and you don't care about the children who are the product of your affiars!"
"Yes I do!" screamed Lorelai, shocked. "What are you talking about?!"
Rayen said nothing, just marched out and slammed the door behind her.

Will Rayen forgive her mom?
Will Alessi get hurt?
Will a baby be produced from Lorelai's latest affair?

All will be revealed in the next episode of.... CHEATERVILLE

Episode Nine- The One Where Everyone's In Love and No One's Happy

On the last episode of Cheaterville, Rayen and Damien had a chat, Alessi announced that she met someone online, and Gray and Rayen fought and then kissed.

The kiss lasted only eight seconds. Between the second it started and the second it ended was pure bliss. But not even ten seconds into it, Rayen realized what she was doing.

She pulled away, hurt and wonder in her eyes. Gray had a similar expression, although that strange emotion was mixed in there as well. They both stared at the emotion in each other’s eyes before Rayen decided that she had to say something.

“This is wrong.” Plain and simple, the words flowed out of her mouth. “We were step-siblings for years, and we also have the same brothers….” She paused, looked down a second, as if deep in thought, then suddenly whipped her head back up and cried, “This is some kind of a prank, isn’t it?!”
“No!” cried Gray. “Why would…”
“You hate me!” Rayen snarled. “You tell me that every time you see me! And then you kiss me?! What, am I go into school tomorrow and everyone is going to be laughing and pointing…”

“You have it all wrong!” Gray begged. “I hated you. I’m not denying that! When we were kids I thought you were such a big bully. And then when we aged up I saw your beauty, and to me it was like love at first sight. But I knew I couldn’t love you, because I thought you hated me like I hated you, and it made me frustrated.” He paused a second, and guilt suddenly washed over his face. “So I hated you even more.”
Rayen blinked. “I always kind of liked you too,” She admitted. “Although as a child, I was quite cruel. Too young to understand, I guess. But then when I got older I sorted through my feelings, but then you were suddenly mean to me…. And I was confused and hurt… and…”

Gray grabbed her into a hug, and then both cried for a bit, and before they knew it their lips were touching again. They were soon passionately making out as the sun set and darkness fell. Finally, they pulled away and looked back into each other’s eyes. Neither one saw anymore confusion, just confidence.
Except, both knew no one in their family would react well to this. They called the same man Dad. They were both older siblings to Jack and Damien. They were raised in the same house as brother and sister. They weren’t related, not since Alessi dumped Douglas, but they were, in a way, family. And they both knew that the reaction to their sudden attraction to each other would not be a good one.

So as they headed home, walking hand and hand, watching the stars, they knew that what had happened at the abandoned mine would have to remain hidden there.

Douglas was at the house, hanging out with the boys. Lorelai was in the nursery, tickling baby Cassie. Alessi was on the computer, chatting with her new man. Everything seemed almost normal, or as normal as the Cheaterville house could possibly be. But no one saw the two teenagers release their hands from each other’s when they walked in the door, nobody saw the look exchanged, and nobody noticed the sad smiles they had on their faces as they walked in opposite directions.

The next morning, Gray and Rayen had woken up early to be with each other. They had kissed a little, flirted a lot, until they heard Cassie start to cry from the nursery. Rayen hurried in to tend to her sister, and Gray stood in the doorway, watching how gentle and sweet she was with the baby, and how much little Cassie adored her big sister, “Wayne”.
Gray’s attention was averted from his beautiful romantic interest by a loud knock on door.

It was still early, so Gray was surprised that anyone would come by there house. He trudged over to the door, thinking it was probably the paper girl with some problem.
He was entirely shocked, however, when he discovered a muscular man in a wife beater with an expensive looking piece of jewelry around his neck. Rayen stuck her head out to see who it was, and then quickly hurried back into the nursery and slammed the door while yelling at Gray to run.

The man looked the shaken Gray over. “This where the Brights live?” the man asked. Gray gulped and nodded, afraid of what would happen if he lied to the man.
Suddenly, there came the low thudding sound of footsteps coming from behind Gray. He whipped around and saw his mom running over.
“Mom!” yelled Gray. “Get back!”

Alessi laughed and she slowed down to a walk, before going to stand next to the strange man. Rayen, who was now freaking out, stuck her head back out to see if anyone was still alive.
“Ummm… Mom?!” cried Gray, more confused than anything. “Do you KNOW this guy?!”
Alessi laughed. “Sure do, Gray. This is RainingMan0726.”
Rayen stared blankly at them and simply asked, “What?”
Gray stared stunned at the two of them. “My mom’s new boyfriend…”

“Oh so this is your son?” said RaingMan0726.  “I’m sorry I scared you, kid. You can call me Darshan.” He then turned to Alessi and asked, “I thought we were meeting for breakfast…”
“We are,” Alessi promised. “I slept a little late.”
“You weren’t going to tell me about him before…” muttered Gray incredulously.
“I was going to bring him over for lunch,” assured Alessi. “I just needed to talk with him a little before.”

“We need to get going now if we’re going to get to restaurant before all the seats are taken.” Reminded Darshan.
“Oh yes!” cried Alessi. She quickly pecked Gray on the cheek and then promised, “We’ll talk later, okay?”
Gray shrugged, numb with shock.
“Come on, LessiBear518,” said Darshan as they turned to leave. “Nice meeting you, Gray.” With that, they both walked out.

Gray stood there even after the door closed, his jaw nearly on the floor. Rayen cradled the cooing Cassie as she tried to soothe her new beau. “He’s probably not that bad… I mean, he certainly seemed polite…”
Gray didn’t answer, just stared at the door in shock. He couldn’t believe it.
His mom was dating a criminal.

Is Gray overreacting?
Is Rayen and Gray’s romance doomed to fail?
Is Alessi ditching the good guys for the bad boys?

All will be revealed in the next episode of… CHEATERVILLE!!!!

Authors Note: Hi "everybody"! If someone besides the lovely Maddy is reading this, then I have a fun fact! Maddy wanted Darshan to be orange! Well, he's all good and his skin is a color that actually occurs in nature, but I thought that was an important part to this episode so I dedicated a whole paragraph to it.

Episode Eight- Wait... WHAT?! This Stupid Story Doesn't Even Make Any Sense!

On the last episode of Cheaterville, the kids all aged up, Gray picks on Rayen for revenge, and Lorelai kisses Rocco for the first time and then gave birth to a baby girl.

Alessi had been spending a lot of time on the internet. Any free second she had was spent on the computer. She even stopped painting.

She finally revealed why early one Saturday morning when she called her sons outside to talk.
"So guys," said Alessi excitedly. "I think I found a new boyfriend!"
"Oh hey!" cried Gray, running up to his mom. "That's great!"
Jack narrowed his eyes. "When did you meet him, excalty? You haven't left the house all week!"

Alessi sighed. "Well, sweetie," she started. "I actually met him online."
"What?!" cried Gray. "Isn't that kind of... dangerous?"
Alessi shook her head. "He's a great guy, really."
"Uh huh," snapped Jack. "Do you even know his name?"

"Oh..." said Alessi thinking quickly. "Ummm, well... his, um, username is RainingMan0726..."
"That's not what I asked," Jack pointed out.

"Ms. Bright!" cried Damien, who was swimming in the pool. Alessi turned around, surprised, and Damien shouted out, "My mom has a new boyfriend, too. If he makes you happy I think that's all that matters."
Alessi blinked. "Thanks, Damien. I didn't know you were in there."
Jack started to jump up and down. "Hey mom, can I go in the pool with Damien?!"
Alessi shrugged. "Sure, but we're going to finish talking about this later."
"Okay!" cried Jack, before spinning into his swimsuit and jumping into the pool.

"Hey jack!" cried Damien. "I bet I can hold my breath longer than you!"
"Can not!" Jack jokingly argued. "I'll beat you in a holding your breath contest any day of the week!"
"Let's go then!" Damien exclaimed before they both dove under.

"Be careful boys!" Alessi called, though she they probably couldn't hear her. She turned back to Gray and asked, "So, your okay with this?"
"With them swimming?"
Alessi laughed. "No, with me dating a guy I met on the internet."
Gray shrugged. "I'm going with what Damien said. I'm glad your happy with this guy. Love is love."
"Oh no," cried Alessi. "It's not love. It's just online dating."
"Well, reguardless," said Gray. "If you feel like this is right, then go for it. Just be careful."

Rayen had been keeping herself busy with her baby sister, Cassie. Even though Lorelai was often with them, Rayen was always the one feeding, cuddling, and singing to Cassie. She didn't like to share her baby with anyone, even her mom. Cassie, in turn, adored her older sister. She walked her first steps only when Rayen asked her to, and her first word was even her sister's name.

Rayen loved her little angel. Cassie was her best friend as far as she was concerned. She was all she had. Rayen didn't have any friends, except for maybe her little brothers. But no one at school would really talk to her, and although she wasn't really sure, she suspected that it may be because of Gray.

Cassie evantually got sleepy, however, and Rayen was forced to put her down for a nap. Suddenly bored, she went outside and hopped on a swing. A second later, Damien, who was dripping from being in the pool, did the same.
"Hey Dame!" said Rayen. "What happened to Jack?"
Damien shrugged. "His mom wanted him to eat something." He paused, kicked his feet out, and then looked back at Rayen. "Hey, can I ask you a question?"
Rayen shrugged. "Yeah, sure"

"What's a bitch?"
Rayen's eyes grew wide. "Wha... wha... what?"
"Well, Gray called you one," said Damien, now a little embarassed. "And then you got all angry at him."
"You heard that?" cried Rayen, surprised. Damien nodded, and Rayen sighed. "Well, it's a rude thing to call a girl. And you should never call someone that."

"Oh." Damien said. Suddenly losing intrest in the subject, he asked, "You okay? You look kinda sad."
Rayen shrugged. "I just have a lot on my mind, I guess."
"Go for a walk and clear your head," Damien suggested, before jumping up off of the swing. "I gotta go get dressed now. Douglas is taking me and Jack to a baseball game."
"Have fun!" exclaimed Rayen as Damien hurried on inside. She then leapt up, and started to walk down the street.

She was actually glad that Damien suggested a walk, it did a lot to clear her head. Unfortunetly, she walked right past the school, where Gray was hanging out with his friend, Henry.

"Woah, look at that," laughed Gray. "Rayen is off on a little walk, isn't she?"
"Come on!" snapped Henry. "Leave her alone."
"I don't see why a should," sneered Gray. "She's never left me alone."
"I always see you picking on her, not the other way around," Henry pointed out. "Besides, she is kinda hot."

Gray rolled his eyes. "Henry, dude, you can do waay better than that horrible little witch. Trust me, she's not worth any effort."
Henry shrugged but didn't say anything.
Gray laughed. "I'm going to go after her."
"I think she wants to be alone." warned Henry.
"She doesn't deserve to be alone," snapped Gray before running off in the direction Rayen went.

Rayen went off the road and went on a beautiful hike through the hills of Twinbrook.

Rayen discovered an abandoned mine a few miles from her house. She was happy about such a discovery, as it could be her own private place.

She heard a low chuckle and the hair stood up on the back of her neck. She whipped around and saw Gray standing there, laughing at the fact he followed her all the way there without her noticing.

"You freak!" screamed Rayen. "You stalker! You FOLLOWED me here?!"
"Yep," Gray chuckled.
"You are a complete sicko!" wailed Rayen.

"You tortured me!" snapped Gray. "Made me miserable! Now guess what.... your the one who's miserable!"
"We were children!" yelled Rayen. "You aren't making any sense! Miserable? You were not miserable! I picked on you occasionally! That's it! And the fact that you are taking it personally like that..." she paused and looked up into Gray's face.

There was something in his eyes, and it wasn't hate. It was... it was.... she wasn't sure what it was.
And then it happened.

Neither was sure what went down just then. All they knew for sure was that Gray leaned in and kissed Rayen, and Rayen didn't try to push him away.

Will Rayen and Gray get even more romantic?
Will there be more fighting?
Will Alessi's new man be hot?

All will be revealed in the next episode of... CHEATERVILLE!!!!
